(this looks very pixelated to me, but I’ll give it a try and post it.  don’t want to resize everything to 500px, because I want ppl to have to opportunity to go click on the high-res link)

9 months after, I’m ready to start blogging again

The reason I stopped blogging on tumblr in the first place was mainly because I felt that my blog didn’t reach out to the ‘right’ people. The majority of my followers have always been 14 year old kids who think tumblr is a ‘popularity contest’. My easy snap-shots of beaches and such was always heaps more popular than the photos I actually put more effort into. This made my photography to develop in the totally wrong direction and I lost a lot of confidence.

After I joined Google+, where I got feedback and could communicate with serious photographers, I finally got my photography on the right track again. I got inspired and I finally felt that I was developing my photography skills.

Today, 9 months after I walked away from tumblr, I feel that I am ready to come back to blog on this platform. I’m gonna start off fresh. I want to share tips and tricks I learn on my path to becoming a better photographer. Share photos I’ve taken but also snap shots that I’m not able to share on my google+/facebook page. (Yes, I am very quality before quantity on those pages) This blog will hopefully be a platform where I can share more. I’ve learnt a lot in the last few months, but I still got heaps to learn. I don’t care if this blog get 1 follower or a 1000, as long as my work can inspire a couple of others I’m more than happy

I’ve noticed that I don’t share that many of my photos here on tumblr anymore. If you are still interested in following my photography you can either follow me on Google+ or Facebook
