Where I come from, the north of Norway (Bodø, Nordland) we have something called the midnightsun in summertime. This means that the sun never goes under the horizon, for about 2 months It keeps shining 24/7. (This is because I live above the polar circle.. ) Somewhere between 11pm - 2am the sun almost touch the horizon, but only to turn and start rising again. And yeah, you do get a little bit time-confused during this period. - This is an old picture from a bbq we had down at the beach some years ago, and the picture is taken around 11pm in the evening. I love the midningtsun, just too bad we have no sun at all during 2-3 months at wintertime.
